Teledyne Tekmar systems for Gas Chromatography (GC) sample introduction
Since the introduction of the first commercial Purge and Trap concentrator in 1975, Teledyne Tekmar has been continuously pioneering VOC technology.

Achieving PPT levels of VOCs in forensic applications using the HT3 static and dynamic headspace system
This application demonstrates the HT3 static and dynamic headspace system's capabilities in offering forensic laboratories a simpler, faster and more repeatable tool for performing blood, breath and urine volatile analysis.


Teledyne Tekmar LUMIN Purge and Trap Concentrator (PTC)

The Lumin builds on seven previous PTC generations, making Teledyne Tekmar the industry’s cornerstone of technique and support.

The Lumin Purge and Trap Concentrator utilizes an electronic Mass Flow Controller that delivers extraction gas to the sample, thus stripping the VOCs and delivering them to a sorbent trap. The trap is then heated and back-flushed to a GC for separation and subsequent detection. The system then automatically performs a clean-up step, allowing for the next sample analysis.

AQUATek 100 waters-only VOC autosampler
The AQUATek 100 is a Purge and Trap (P&T) Autosampler that automates the sample preparation steps for the analysis of liquid samples via purge and trap.

Atomx Automated VOC Sample Prep System
The Atomx combines an Autosampler and Purge and Trap into a single instrument for the analysis of VOCs in soils and waters. This is the first of its kind and the only system that employs a unique methanol extraction automation feature for high level soils in accordance with USEPA Method 5035.

High temperature headspace assay of polymers with HT3 static headspace instrument
This paper documents the assay of a HT polymer with Teledyne Tekmar’s HT3 static headspace instrument at 280°C. The HT polymer was tested to compare the VOC's and SVOC's released during headspace analysis to the current thermal desorption method.
