In this experiment, SAMs out of a vapour phase and out of a solution were applied to platinum surfaces. Using the optical contact angle meter OCA 200 and the PDDS picolitre dosing system from DataPhysics Instruments, differently treated surfaces were examined and quantified using contact angle measurements.
