Analysis of 2-dimensional FTIR mapping of a metamorphic rock
In this application, pelitic schist was collected from the Asemi River in central Shikoku, Japan. This pelitic schist comes from the Sambagawa Metamorphic Belt, and contains muscovite, chlorite, quartz and albite. Samples measuring 30 um in thickness were prepared for micro FTIR transmittance analysis using the mapping program.
