Gilson Minipuls tubing properties
Tubing physical characteristics and applications.

Selecting tubing and connectors for Minipuls 3 peristaltic pump
Select the peristaltic tubing diameter that gives the desired flow rate by reference to the tables. For example, if you have a standard pump head and your maximum flow rate is 5 mL/min, you should select a tubing material appropriate to your application and a tubing size where the maximum flow rate specified in the table is greater than 5 mL/min.

Gilson Minipuls flow rate charts
Minipuls peristaltic pump flow rate charts to be used as a guide for selecting the appropriate tubing.

Gilson Minipuls 3 peristaltic pump specifications
Multichannel design provides ultra-smooth, low-pulse flow rates

Gilson table of chemical compatibility of Minipuls tubing
Chemical compatibility of PVC, Iso-Versinic® (Viton®), silicone and PharMed® (Santroprene™) tubing.

Gilson Minipuls tubing selection table
Once you know the nature of your fluids and the required flow rate, refer to the Minipuls tubing selection table to select the appropriate tubing, extension tubing and connectors.

Gilson Minipuls 3 peristaltic pumps
High resolution and precision speed and control for delivering smooth, low pulse flows without sample shearing or degradation

Study of bacterial biofilm
In the Institute of Biology at the Leiden University, the molecular biology team seeks to identify Pseudomonas (Pseudomonas putida) genes and traits involved in efficient competitive root colonisation in order to understand how bacteria survive, proliferate, and compete in the rhizosphere after bacterisation of seeds. The Minipuls evolution is used to study bacterial biofilms in flowcell chambers. Bacteria grow in flowcell chambers fed by an oxygenated solution and media. The Minipuls evolution is used to bring this solution to the chambers and recycle it.

Rat heart perfusion
An international pharmaceutical company present in 140 countries has integrated the Minipuls evolution in one of its cardiology laboratories where cardiovascular diseases are studied.
